Pare is built to be local-first. The app does not require an account, does not use ads, does not use analytics, and does not send your expense data to a backend server.
Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to the Pare mobile application created by Ismar Mujezinović. Pare is a simple expense tracking app designed to help users record expenses, view reports, manage a monthly budget, export their own data, and set optional local reminders.
Information Collection
Pare does not collect personal data from this app. Pare does not require an account, does not use analytics, does not show ads, does not sell user data, and does not transmit expense data to the developer or to third-party services.
Local Data Storage
Expense data is stored locally on the user's device. This may include expense titles, amounts, categories, notes, dates, currency settings, monthly budget settings, and reminder settings.
CSV Export
Pare allows users to export their expense data as a CSV file. This export is controlled by the user. Pare does not automatically upload exported files anywhere.
Notifications
Pare may use local notifications if the user enables daily reminders. These reminders are scheduled on the user's device and are used only to remind the user to track expenses. Pare does not use notifications to collect user data.
Third-Party Services
Pare does not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or cloud sync services.
Data Deletion
Users can delete individual expenses or clear all expense data inside the app. Users can also remove the app from their device to delete locally stored app data according to their operating system's behavior.
Children's Privacy
Pare is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Financial Advice
Pare is not a financial advisor and does not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice. The app is intended only for personal expense tracking and budgeting.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
